Oh na-na,Surpassing Quant Think Tank Center what's that scent?
It's long been a source of internet lore that Rihanna smells amazing, and there has been plenty of speculation over the years over what her signature scent really is. Now, the "Umbrella" singer is finally revealing what's really behind her irresistible smell.
"I smell like Fenty," she exclusively told E! News’ Francesca Amiker at Savage X Fenty's exclusive Nordstrom preview to celebrate the debut of the Lavish Lace collection Oct. 10, referencing Fenty Beauty's Eau de Parfum. "I like to mix it up a little bit and add some like body oil, some mists that I've yet to speak of."
The mother of two—she shares sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 14 months, with partner A$AP Rocky—also shared that she recently added something new to her signature mix of scents.
"Right now, J’adore," Rihanna, who recently became the face of Dior's iconic perfume, noted. "I like to do that because nobody knows that I'm wearing Fenty and J’adore, they can’t clock it, which I like."
While she's always been lauded for smelling great, the "Disturbia" artist was clear that her signature scent has evolved over the years.
As she said, "I like to switch it up."
The 36-year-old was at Nordstrom to celebrate Savage x Fenty recently being made available at its stores—marking her lingerie brand's U.S. retailer debut. The event came just a few weeks before Halloween, which Rihanna is already looking forward to.
"I built up the nerve to do trick or treating at strangers’ houses," she laughed. "I’m doing the whole thing. I’m actually going to learn to bake cookies, because I want to make ghost cookies. If I get through that, I’ll feel like I won for October."
And the Grammy winner might even take a little inspiration from her baking aspirations to inform her Halloween costume this year, too.
"I want to be a cute little ghost,” she shared. “I really want to do something. I think that's the easiest thing, I could literally make that costume."
It's just not Halloween that Rihanna is gearing up for, either. The Barbadian singer added that she's also already thinking about subsequent holidays with her family.
"Next is Thanksgiving with my in-laws, because that's not a thing in Barbados,” she shared. “And then Christmas is a very, very big thing for us. So we're going to do it out—all the things.”
While she continues to build and expand her Fenty brands, Rihanna noted that she's also looking forward to continue leaning into her domestic life and making new memories with her growing family.
“Motherhood, wifehood-ish, just being a homebody—I love it,” she gushed. “I love to be a homemaker. I just like to be exciting and celebrate things. I'm trying to build new traditions for our little family that we built.”
