Sofia Richie Grainge and Elliot Grainge’s 5-month-old daughter Eloise is already keeping up thanks to her new “baby phone.”
“Eloise has a little baby phone, that we get to text, or I like to text,” Therapuss podcast host Jake Shane, who is friends with Sofia, shared on the Nov. 13 episode of the show. “And I say, ‘Good morning, Eloise.’ And Sofia responds usually but today Ali took the phone.”
Sofia, 26, explained the truth behind Eloise having a device, adding, “So whoever is with Eloise gets the phone. So, at that very moment Ali was sitting with Eloise and you texted her and would you like to tell the story?”
Jake took over, noting, “I said, ‘Eloise do you mind if me and your mommy talk about how perfect you are on the podcast today?’ And she said, ‘No, keep my name out of your mouth.’ And I said, ‘Eloise, excuse me.’ She said, ‘I hate you.’”
Jake quipped, “Eloise has a little bit of an attitude.”
Fake drama aside, Sofia—the youngest child of Lionel Richie and Diane Alexander—got candid about how becoming a mother has shifted her mindset.
“For me, my life makes sense now,” Sofia shared. “I’ve never loved anything more in my life, and I’m obsessed with her. She’s perfect.”
The model also quipped, “And I’ve lost 15 pounds,” bursting into laughter with Jake.
Sofia later shared that she gained 60 pounds during her pregnancy, admitting that sharing weekly photo updates of her baby bump proved to be a challenging experience for her.
“I’d watch myself expand,” she said of the photo updates. “It was cute, and then it wasn’t.”
However, despite it all, Sofia called carrying life “beautiful,” adding, “It got crazy, but I was always in power the entire way. I am unbelievable that I can do this.”
