Seven people were rescued after a seaplane made an emergency landing in Miami Friday afternoon.
Video shows Miami-Dade Fire Rescue working to get the seven passengers to safety after the seaplane landed on its side near Port of Miami as several cruise ships sailed nearby.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to a report of a seaplane crash just after 1:30 p.m. The plane, a single-engine Cessna with tail number N85WL, departed from Palm Beach International Airport just after 1 p.m. and was scheduled to land in the PortMiami waterway, according to NBC 6 South Florida.
All passengers were rescued and brought to safety. No injuries were reported.
Seaplanes are capable of landing in water depending on the type of float the aircraft has. If the plane has an amphibious float, the float is made with retractable landing gear, which permits the aircraft to operate on a runways and on the water, according to the Hartzell Propeller.

Events leading up to seaplane crash in PortMiami
The seaplane departed from Palm Beach International Airport at 1:04 p.m. and was expected to arrive at Miami Seaplane Base by 1:37 p.m., according to records from FlightAware.
Around 1:40 p.m. the single engine plane overturned while landing, CBS News reports.
After the crash law enforcement officials received a report of the plane crash at 2:20 p.m. Three Miami-Dade Police Harbor Patrol boats were dispatched to the scene to help.
The plane was towed back to a nearby dock after the passengers were rescued.
A source told CBS News about the incident, saying that one of the seaplane's floats had taken in water which caused an unstable list.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board will be investigating the official cause of the incident.
